Letter from MTES principal, John Melitsky.

healthGood afternoon Mansfield Elementary,
I hope this message finds you and your family well as we adjust to this new normal. There are a few points of information to share.

Please make contact with your child's teacher. There are still some students that we have not been able to connect with. We are worried about you and want to help.

Check with your teacher about upcoming assignments. While we are offering quite a bit of online instruction, some teachers have created new packets that can be picked up at the school.

If you have a new packet to pick up at the school, the time windows are Thursday from 10am - 12pm and Friday from 9am - 12pm.

Mrs. Favreau has created spirit days for this week that teachers are sharing out with their students. Please encourage your child to participate. Its important for students to still feel connected to their classmates and school community.

Mrs. Jeppson has set up a fitness challenge for our students. Please view it at https://youtu.be/fyUjFQJeI9E and remember to stay active.

Most students thrive with structure and routine. Changing home routines during this unique situation is expected and okay, but help your child develop a new routine that matches your households current needs.

Meals remain available to all students eligible for free or reduced lunch. Pick up is in the school parking lot from 5pm - 6pm daily.

I believe the events of the next week or two are going to dictate what the remainder of our school year will look like. Please stay connected as Dr. Girodano and I will share information with you as it becomes available to us.

Stay well Mansfield.

Mr. Melitsky
